Pierpaolo Piccioli did a great job as a Creative Director at the house of Valentino last Haute Couture Fall / Winter 2018 / 2019 Collection. The collection was magical, full of dreams. We could not imagine how brilliant he is to create such art pieces to the sky. Every dress, every couture piece walked down the runway was a heaven to watch. The models were like Goddess to make our dreams come true.
The couture pieces. The color. The volume. The headdress. Everything we dreamed of was there ready to be worn.
Then, I got stuck to this golden yellow couture piece worn. It was like flying to me and kept saying to do an illustration (see below for it).

I love how low the neck line is, not too sexy but classy. The sleeves that feels like I need to fly like wings. The volume below that needs a space and outrageously flawless.

I used Reeves Watercolor - Yellow Ochre, Medium Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Orange, Bright Red, Burnt Sienna mixed with Lemon Yellow, and Flesh.

Valentino is one of the best luxurious brands to invest in in terms of bags, clothes, shoes, and the likes in today's demanding world. Behind it, the Fall / Winter Couture Collection of the brand was beyond my imagination which put me into my dream world full of colors and magic. It was created not to be visually appreciated but emotionally appreciated. Behind a couture piece, there were stories made by the creators - the unexplained hard work, patience, downs and ups which should be put in mind. We are not just seeing it on the runway for the purpose of gaining money but we see a hope, an art, a love, a passion stitched to create a so called masterpiece.
