Loose Floral Watercolors.
When I am not illustrating fashion, I am doing some floral to refresh and let the idea come in. Below is a short video on how I create loose floral in watercolor.
When I am not illustrating fashion, I am doing some floral to refresh and let the idea come in. Below is a short video on how I create loose floral in watercolor.
Mix Reeves Watercolor Ivory Black and Phthalo Blue to create a bluish dark pigment we wanted.
Always start from the center going out. It is not necessary it is a perfect petal at first, that is why it is loose, it needs to be imperfectly perfect and beautiful. Then, do it with the other petals. In the video, I create five petals.
After, tap the brush on the center with more black in the mixture of Reeves Watercolor Ivory Black and Phthalo Blue to create a real like flower. As the color goes on the petals, it is more likely look a flower. The smallest detail possible that it creates.
Love. Love. Love.
