Givenchy Fall/Winter Couture 2019

Reinterpretation Of The Archive's Best.

Black is the color of Givenchy. From dressing Audrey Hepburn to all celebrity you can name, that's Hubert James Marcel Taffin de Givenchy or best known as Hubert de Givenchy.

The Fall/Winter Couture 2019 collection is all about the modern take and vision of Clare with touch of Hubert de Givenchy and other past designers of the Maison. The technique, the cut, the design, the texture and the likes can be seen as old glamour turning what the brand is about and who built it.

Below illustration is from one of the magnificent creations of CWK for the house.

The black coat with white collar placed on the right is totally lovely for me. The coat can be a dress already. But the feather tulle skirt with visible petticoat that makes it big, ball like that whenever you walk it will look like you are floating or bouncing lightly.
